Pride in our horses

This here crazy horse was found near Mt. Krazneydang's water park, ( open Mon thru Thur on alternate weekends ) . Not sure why it is defective. Some think it may involve the mating of a Brahma Bull and a horse but neither one of them spit the way this thing does. The hump on the back makes it hard at Rodeos to rope a calf, but we get it done. We tried sending it home but it just stands there, like the dumb horse it is. You should hear it try to neigh, sends shivers up your spine. Poor thing. It never will have too many friends.

The Skiing Experience of a Lifetime

While the skiing experience on Mount Krazneydang is unsurpassed for it's beauty and solitude, the spring brings additional challenges for the experienced skier with an eye to excitement. The moguls are can not be compared to any others in the world when flying over you look down to a sight like this. ( Bunny slope is closed at the first warm day of Spring )

Magnificent Fishing and River Rafting

While in Mount Krazneydang National Park don't miss the white water rafting and many streams that provide interesting fishing. It is suggested that small pets be left back at the Park kennel and tire emporium as the little known but highly voracious Mountain Alligators tend to get a little frisky. Just to re-assure our guest we HAVE switched from the vinyl rafts to alluminum boats for the river raft rides, after the unfortunate experience with the Labor Day River Raft Race.

Mt. Krazneydang Texas Recreational Park

For so many years this pristine wilderness park has been hidden away twenty miles south of Houston. Lost in the clouds and mist only an occasional glimpse was seen by airline passengers, generally after copious amounts of alcohol, as they flew into local airports. It's existence has always been denied in an effort to save this wilderness experience for those of true Texas birth. Now due to the loss of funding by our greatest contributor, the Enron Corporation, and the unreasonable denial of the Federal government to provide for it out of the stimulus package the Great Republic of Texas has been forced to open it up to the general public.

The World Famous Lifesaving /Cadaver Dogs

Posted by PicasaProtects and serves the citizens of Houston, Texas and the Mount Krazneydang National Park. Texas citizens have no fear of avalanches and frost bite with this warrior around. He rescues all from the blizzards of Houston. He leads in all winter sports. No other animals is known to lead in snow boarding, mountain climbing, and even ice fishing, were he retrieves fish from the bitter cold glacier lakes at Mt. Krazneydang. All of this and he is the leader of our famous lifesaving/Cadaver Dog team. We could not afford both so we combined it in one dog. Our Motto is, "We WILL find you one way or another / sooner or later".

Summers Day at Mt. Krazneydang

Mt. Krazneydang does offer warmer weather sports. Lakes fill as the mountain tops melt in the Houston area. One should be aware of this as the first warm day of spring can be awkward. You can enjoy a full day of fishing in clear cold mountain lakes. The bass are always biting so bring your pole. Unfortunately so are the pirahnna so please no wade fishing. Posted by Picasa

Checking Equipment

To those who would visit it is pointed out that the Mount Krazneydang Park Rangers are particularly well armed and frown on poachers and litterbugs equally. Also parking in their parking spaces is really not recommended.

Camp houses

Camp houses are limited here, but there are plenty of wide open spaces to go snow sledding. Why not try it in the summer months? It will not be as crowded!
